True Reflections Awards is a business that prides itself on making awards that depict the character and accomplishments of awardees.   Our primary focus is to recognize those individuals that have served our country and those in colleges and high schools preparing to follow in their footsteps in the military or civilian sector.

Prior to being the owner of this business, I served my country and community for over 45 years.   I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1971 and served about twenty-two years.  After a very successfully naval career, I was hired in 1993 to the present, to continue my serves as a Naval Science Instructor (JROTC) in the DeKalb County Public-School System.  However, as I prepare to march forward in June 2019, I am eager to take something that I enjoyed doing as a hobby and turn it into a prosperous business.  At the end of each school year, I made shadow boxes for all the graduating seniors as a hobby.    Everything inside their shadow boxes mirrored their accomplishments in high school from JROTC, sports, academic, etc.   Today, all of them still cherish their True Reflection Shadow Boxes.
